Communication
CoRE is a central source of information for all City Centre Churches and Christian organisations; with the aim of advancing and promoting the Christian religion for the benefit of the public in York City Centre through the use of the church buildings for religious, cultural and heritage purposes.
- The Trust aims to provide a communication network for information about all City Centre Churches
- The Trust aims to facilitate communication between all the Churches of York City Centre
- The Trust provides “on demand” support for ecumenical activities in York City Centre for individual churches and organisations and between Christian churches of different denominations.
- The Trust provides support resources for the organization and development of events and other marketing activities for York City Centre Churches in conjunction with other bodies of interest.
- The Trust is continually liaising with tourism boards and councils, cultural bodies and agencies, local authorities, chambers and boards of trade and commerce, the ancient guilds and livery companies of the City of York, and other charitable organisations to promote the Christian religion, and cultural interest in church buildings in York City Centre.

CoRE aims to support and promote the maintenance, repair, restoration, preservation, improvement, beautifying, reordering and reconstruction, for the benefit of the public, York City Centre Churches and their monuments, fixtures, fittings, furniture, stained glass, ornaments and other chattels including their churchyards. more…
